Tiger walking down rocky gully
Kanha Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh, India
"These wild rocky 'nallahs' are a such a distinctive feature of Kanha’s beautiful and varied landscape. This two year old male cub will soon move away from his mother and within a few years may establish his own territory. Tigers mark their territories by urine spraying and using their long retractable claws to scratch tree trunks which also helps to sharpen them."
