Reticulated giraffes browsing
Buffalo Springs National Reserve, Kenya
"This group of giraffes were part of far larger herd of around 50 individuals. Reticulated giraffes differ from Maasai giraffe in having a well developed central horn and large chestnut patches separated by narrow white lines or reticulations. Although once considered separate species the two are now regarded as subspecies as they interbreed freely in central Kenya."
