These pictures were taken in either South Africa's Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (covering part of the Southern Kalahari Desert) or Namibia's Etosha National Park. Both Parks encompass vast areas of wilderness and in spite of their arid nature host a huge array of creatures from eagle owls to elephants.
